WIAA Regional Wrestling Results

Regional wrestling tournaments were held around the area with teams and individuals advancing on.  The top teams in each Regional advance to Team Sectionals on Tuesday Feb. 15th, while the top 2 individuals in each weight class in Divisions 2 and 3 and the top 4 in each weight class in Division 1 advance to the Individual Sectionals on Saturday, Feb. 19th.   Here are results from Regionals involving area teams......

 

Division3 

Cadott Regional:  Cadott is the team champion.  Cadott will send 11 wrestlers to Sectionals.  Thorp/Owen-Withee will send 2 wrestlers to Sectionals.  Stanley-Boyd will send 3

Auburndale Regional:  Stratford won the Regional Title and will send 10 wrestlers to Sectionals.  Auburndale will send 6,  Edgar and Marathon will send 5 and Pittsville and Athens will send 2

 

Division 2

Arcadia Regional:  Jackson McCormick of Black River Falls advances to Sectionals

 

Division 1

Marshfield Regional:  Marshfield won their Regional and will send 12 wrestlers to Sectionals, Stevens Point will send 7 wrestlers to Sectionals

Baraboo Regional:  Wisconsin Rapids finished 2nd as a team, Holmen was the team champion.  Wisconsin Rapids will send 12 wrestlers to Sectionals.
