Schoen Is A National Silver Gloves Runner-up

Community Boxing Club had three boxers competing this week at the 2022 National Silver Gloves tournament in Independence, Missouri.
Niah Schoen advanced to the Championship rounds Saturday, following a win by RSC (Ref stops contest) in the second round of her semi-final bout on Friday. Schoen lost a decision in the championship bout Saturday and finished as the 2022 National Silver Gloves runner-up!
Hard fought match against a tough opponent.
Wisconsin is part of Region 4; Region 4 had a great week at the National Silver Gloves Tournament coming away with 12 National Silver Gloves Champions and 12 National Silver Gloves Runner-ups.
Also boxing for Community Boxing Club - at 55 pounds, Kage Davis won his first bout at the tournament on Thursday against James Johnson from Region 6. Kage moved on to competition Friday against Region 8’s Jarrik McKinney. Kage lost by decision.
Boxing at 85 lbs, Brailey Opelt had her first bout of the tournament Thursday night against Florida’s boxer Karma Farber, losing a close decision to Farber. Kage Davis and Brailey Opelt lost by close decisions in the semi-final bouts on Friday.
