Community Boxing Club Members Competing In Missouri (UPDATED)

Community Boxing Club has three boxers competing this week at the 2022 National Silver Gloves tournament in Independence, Missouri.
Boxing at 55 pounds, Kage Davis won his first bout at the tournament on Thursday against James Johnson from Region 6. Kage moved on to competition today against Region 8’s Jarrik McKinney. Kage lost by decision.
Boxing at 85 lbs, Brailey Opelt had her first bout of the tournament Thursday night against Florida’s boxer Karma Farber, losing a close decision to Farber. Kage Davis and Brailey Opelt lost by close decisions in the semi-final bouts on Friday. Niah Schoen advances to the Championship rounds today, following a win by RSC (Ref stops contest) in the second round of her semi-final bout.
