Daina Shilts Of Neillsville Wins Gold At X Games Aspen!

Special Olympics WI snowboarder and Neillsville's own, Daina Shilts and partner Mons Roisland secured the Unified Snowboarding Slalom gold at X Games Aspen earlier today!  Mons won back-to-back Snowboard Slopestyle silver in 2020 and 2021 and added Big Air bronze in 2021.

Daina also won the 2020 gold in the Unified Snowboarding Slalom. Daina was part of the Special Olympics USA Games 2018 TV talent team for ESPN, as the first female with an intellectual disability to serve as an analyst.

She has now medaled in Unified Snowboarding at X Games Aspen in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2022.
