Bauer Has Another Big Rushing Night For Durand/Other Top Performers

Durand Panthers running back, Simon Bauer, had another big night running the football last Friday night as Durand beat Elk Mound 36-14.  Bauer had 23 carries for 333 yards and 4 touchdowns.  Bauer is now the leading rusher in the state with 1,375 yards and he also leads the state averaging 229 yards per game.

Also last week, Leo Brostowitz of Wisconsin Rapids had 293 yards on 29 carries and 3 touchdowns in their 39-0 win over Hortonville.  And Brock Bennington of Spencer/Columbus Catholic carried the ball 30 times for 223 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Rockets 28-27 upset win over Bangor.

Jarod Falkner of Mondovi had a near perfect night throwing the football going 14 of 15 for 217 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Buffaloes 48-0 win over Neillsville-Granton. 

Riley Warzynski of Stevens Point had another good game passing.  He was 13 of 27 for 213 yards and a pair of touchdowns as the Panthers edged D.C. Everest 28-20.
