Area Football Players Have Big Games In Week 5

Some area high school football players had big games in week 5 last week.
Avery Kaanta of Elk Mound rushed for 294 yards on just 17 carries and 3 touchdowns in the Mounders 42-8 win over Osseo-Fairchild. Aiden Kolar of Pittsville had 37 carries for 250 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Panthers 18-14 win over Rosholt.
Quarterback Eli Laube of Fall Creek was 23 of 36 for 356 yards with 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in the Crickets 34-28 win over Neillsville-Granton. Leo Hagberg had 8 catches for 171 yards and 2 touchdowns in that game as well.
Stanley-Boyd scored a wild comeback victory last Friday, defeating Mondovi 28-27. Carsen Hause was 27 of 43 for 354 yards and 4 touchdowns while Brady Potaczek had 11 catches for 217 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Orioles.
