Neillsville 12U Baseball Team Wins Greenwood Tournament

The Neillsville 12U baseball team took the championship at the annual Greenwood Lions Tournament on Sunday.  

Neillsville started off on Saturday by coming back to beat Greenwood 3-2 in 8 innings.  Then in their second game on Saturday evening they beat Loyal1 by one run to make it to the championship game.

In the championship game on Sunday, Neillsville got out to an early lead vs. Loyal2 and won 11-4 to secure the gold medals.

Members of the winning squad included: Adam Hoeser, Mason Walter, Zeb Schultz, Tala Suda, Colten Hannasch, Trevor Hart, Karson Berdan, Brady Barth, Boden Opelt, Max Koepp, Keagan Ormond and Axel Pumper.  The team was coached by Larry Hoeser and Tim Walter with help from Jeff Hart and Andrew Hoeser
