Optimist Club Tri-Star Basketball Results

The Optimist Club of Neillsville conducted their annual Tri-Star Basketball competition for boys and girls ages 8-13 on Friday, March 6th at the Neillsville Fieldhouse. Over 90 children participated with the top winners in each age category as follows:8 yrs.

Also competing and earning medals were these pre-eligible athletes: Tyra Wuethrich, Grace Hagmann, Violet Struensee, Emma Spencer, Daisy Hart, Emberlynn Parker, Blake Knudsen, Lucas Luchterhand, Gordy Gaier, Jarus Backaus, Tripp Laufenberg, Jordan Waters, Tuff Calkins, Adreian Waltemate, Mya Gross, Kenzie Klimpke, Olivia Roman, Kallie Berdan, Zoey Hunt, Emerson Schoengarth, Ryan Ystad, Blake Morrell, Drew Fitzl, Evin Dittner, Robert Hogan & Grant Harley.
The event included competition in passing, dribbling and shooting skills. Each first place winner received a plaque, while all other participants received medals.
The 1st place winners in the local contest now have the opportunity to compete in the state Tri-Star competition held in Oshkosh in April.
