Neillsville Boys Win 1st Place Crossover Playoff

The Neillsville boys basketball team played arguably their best game of the season as they downed Altoona 85-80 in the Cloverbelt 1st Place Crossover playoff game in Altoona on Saturday.Alex King scored 29 points to lead Neillsville. Braden Trunkel made four 3-pointers and added 18 points for the Warriors, who improve to 19-3 with the win.
In the second-place game, Thorp downed Spencer 64-51. Austin Bacon scored 25 points for the Rockets, Ethan Reis and Isaac Soumis both scored 18 points for Thorp.
