Neillsville And Loyal Girls Are Regional Champs

The Neillsville and Loyal girls basketball teams were crowned Regional Champs on Saturday night and advance to Sectional Semi-Final play on Thursday night.Neillsville downed Osseo-Fairchild 54-43 in a Division 4 Regional Final on Saturday night behind a season high 18 points from Jaden Barth. Jaden hit four 3-pointers in the contest. No. 2 seed Neillsville (22-2) will now take on No. 1 seed Melrose-Mindoro on Thursday night at Eau Claire Memorial starting at 7 pm. Loyal, the No. 3 seed, downed No. 2 seed Prairie Farm, on the road, 70-55 on Saturday night in a Division 5 Regional Final. The Greyhounds improve to 21-4 and now advance to take on Clear Lake at Colfax on Thursday night in a Sectional Semi-final.
