State Volleyball Champions Crowned

Champions were crowned in four girls divisions and one boys division at the State Volleyball Tournament Saturday at the Resch Center.Top-seeded Arrowhead (41-3) cruised to the girls Division 1 championship with a 25-21, 25-20, 25-21 sweep of Oconomowoc in the title game.
The Warhawks win their first State championship in their seventh State Tournament appearance, and Oconomowoc (39-4) finishes runner-up for the second consecutive season and for the third time in their four State experiences.
Third-seeded Luxemburg-Casco (35-13) upset top-seeded McFarland 25-21, 25-17, 25-23 to claim possession of the girls Division 2 State volleyball championship.
Luxemburg-Casco wins its first championship in its second State appearance, and McFarland finishes runner-up in its second State experience.
Top-seeded Howards Grove (42-4) rolled to a 25-22, 25-14, 25-15 victory over Aquinas to win the girls Division 3 championship.
The Tigers win their third State championship and the first since 2016. Aquinas (31-4) finishes runner-up in its second State appearance.
Clear Lake (38-0) capped an undefeated season by sweeping former defending champion Catholic Central 25-15, 25-17, 25-16 in the girls Division 4 championship match.
Clear Lake wins the State title in their first-ever State appearance, and Catholic Central (29-11) finishes runner-up for the second time to go with six State championships.
