Tenner Is New All-Time Leading Rusher

With 237 yards and four touchdowns on 23 carries in a 55-7 Level 2 win over Cambridge, Racine Lutheran’s Tyler Tenner now has 6,903 career yards, which eclipses the previous state rushing record of 6,870 yards set just last year by Iola-Scaninavia's Bryce Huettner.WisSports.net reports that he is one of the top contenders for state player of the year as a senior with 2,286 yards and 31 touchdowns on 223 carries in 2019.
Tenner has a chance to become the first player in state history to go over 7,000 career rushing yards, needing just 97 yards to reach the mark as the Crusaders take on defending Division 5 state champion Saint Mary's Springs on Friday in Level 3.
