WIAA Fall Tournaments Begin This Week

The WIAA fall tournaments begin this week with two divisions of regional play for girls golf at various golf courses around the state.The Baraboo Regional was the only meet scheduled today but with the rain it has been postponed and will be played on Friday. 15 more regionals are scheduled for Wednesday including the Arcadia Regional in Division 2 where Black River Falls, Stanley-Boyd and Osseo-Fairchild/Fall Creek are particpating. While in Division 1, Marshfield and Stevens Point are at the Wisconsin Rapids Regional. The final two regionals are scheduled for Thursday.
The first four teams and top four individuals, who are not members of one of the top four teams, in each Regional qualify for one of nine sectionals.
With the forecast of inclement weather in various areas throughout the state during the week, more postponements are a possibility.
