Neillsville/Granton Topples Colfax

Tommy Friemoth scored 3 touchdowns and Jonah Zoschke added 2 as the Neillsville/Granton Warriors beat the Colfax Vikings 41-0 on Friday night.The Warriors took advantage of 2 blocked punts early in the first quarter to take a 13-0 lead. The Warriors scored 19 points in the first quarter and 22 points in the 3rd quarter, including a blocked punt return for a touchdown by Monte Diestler.
Friemoth led the Warriors on the ground with 63 yards on 8 carries, Zoschke had 62 yards on 19 carries and Braden Trunkel added 57 yards on 6 carries. Trunkel was also 5 for 5 through the air for 70 yards.
Neillsville/Granton had 8 penalties for 67 yards.
The Warriors improved to 2-1 on the season. They will host Cadott in Cloverbelt action next Friday at 7 pm.
