Gress Takes Second In A Feature Race

Darek Gress of Neillsville, in the 107.5 Asphalt Rocket, finished 2nd in the CWRA Stars to Legends Tour first 30 lap feature on Saturday night at Marshfield Motor Speedway..Gress finished 7th in the second 30 lap feature. Meanwhile, Darek's dad, Monte finished 15th in the first feature and 23rd in the second one. Darek is currently 5th in the season points race and Monte is 12th.
Tour point leader, Jeff Weinfurter, Wis. Rapids, won both 30 lap Feature events. With the wins, Weinfurter all but assured himself of the season points Crown with one event left at Golden Sands Speedway, Friday night, August 23rd.
