Neillsville Rec. Department's Juniorette Awards Picnic Held

The Neillsville Recreation Department held their annual "Juniorette Awards Picnic" on Tuesday, July 25th at the school softball diamonds.All girls who participated in the program received certificates. Teams and their honored players included:
Tigers: Maddie & Ali Shaw, Alexa Gross, Hadley Hare, Angelica Roman & Alexis Opelt
Terrapins: Shaylen Pierce, Ava Kruschke, Claire Hannasch, Cailey Seefeldt, Bethia Noble, Maddie Newbury & Kyanna Rakovec
Yellow Jackets: Jayda Buettner, Kacey Beelman, Tori Cappadora, Alexis Bergemann, Brynn Griepentrog, Anita Mathis & Adianna Nava
Fighting Illini: Riley Hemp, Kylah Walk, Eden Marg, Madison Barth, Maci Knudsen & Daisy Harder
Waves: Marie Hagmann, Taylor Hensiak, Danika & Navaeh Stenulson, Gena Dolle & Andi Ehlers
Wildcats: Brailey Opelt, Delayni Fitzl, Tinley Wuethrich, Adreian Waltemate, Gwyn Borzillo & Courtney Paine
Following the ceremony, root beer floats, donated by the Neillsville A&W were enjoyed by all.
Juniorette Softball is a program for girls 7-10 years of age that stresses the fundamentals of the game with very little emphasis on winning and losing. The instructors/coaches included: Kendie Pfeiffer, Ellie Moseid, & Emma Moseley.
