Wisconsin State Junior Olympic Boxing Results

Community Boxing Club and the Neillsville VFW hosted the Wisconsin State Junior Olympics this past weekend at the American Legion Post 73.Representing Community Boxing Club, Ashten Schultz won in the semi-final tournament bout on Saturday and advanced to the finals on Sunday. Brooklin Schoen took a win by decision in a non-tournament bout.
Day 2 of the Junior Olympic Tournament, Ashten Schultz lost his bout to Landon Helsinger of MIBC, and Landon advanced to the Regional tournament in Iowa.
Team award for the tournament was presented to Wisconsin Rapids Boxing Club, and the Merlin Lindow Award for Outstanding Local Boxer was presented to Evan Stenerson of Wisconsin Rapids Boxing Club.
