Rapids Girls Basketball Coach Resigns

Chris Bondioli has resigned as girls basketball coach at Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School.Bondioli had been a basketball coach at Lincoln for 19 years, including 11 years with the girls program and the last four years as the varsity head coach. The Red Raiders finished with an 8-14 overall this past season, including 5-7 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.
The Wisconsin Rapids Tribune reports that he submitted his resignation Friday. The school confirmed his resignation Monday. The position will be posted immediately and Principal Ronald Rasmussen said he hopes to have a replacement for Bondioli in place by the end of May.
