Men’s Class “B” Basketball Tourney Results

The Neillsville Recreation Department held their 39th, Annual Men’s Class “B” Basketball Tourney this past weekend at the Neillsville Fieldhouse.Eight teams competed in the day long event. Reigning as champion was ”Splash City“ of Eau Claire as they edged “Ghost Ballers” of Marshfield in a highly contested ball game for the gold ball. Placing third was “Oil Exchange/Quick Lube” of Marshfield. Placing fourth was “Prudential Services” of Marshfield. In the consolation bracket “BW Express” of Wausau edged “Johnny Vapes” of Marshfield. Also participating in the tourney were “Colby Chrysler” of Colby and “No Sympathy” of Marshfield.
A number of Neillsville High School alumni basketball players participated, making for a day of fun and reminiscing. Proceeds of the tournament go towards subsidizing youth sports at the Neillsville Recreation Department.
