Neillsville Girls Advance To Regional Final

The Neillsville girls basketball team will play in the Regional Final on Monday night after beating Westfield Area 61-20 in the Regional Semi-Final on Friday night...Thanks to their defensive pressure, the Warriors got out to a 10-0 lead and never looked back, taking a 32-11 halftime lead. Sam Cappadora and Jaden Barth led the way with 10 points each.
Neillsville kept up the pressure in the second half and the entire bench was able to play as the Warriors rolled to a lopsided victory.
Neillsville was led by Bella Opelt with 13 points, Barth had 12 and Cappadora finished with 10 points. Alexa Brakebush led the Pioneers with 10 points.
The Warriors, now 20-3, will now play Necedah in the Regional Final on Monday night at 7 pm at the Fieldhouse in Neillsville.
