TRI-STAR BASKETBALL WINNERS

The Optimist Club of Neillsville conducted their annual Tri-Star Basketball competition for boys and girls ages 8-13 on Thursday, February 21st at the Neillsville Fieldhouse.Over 60 children participated with the top winners in each age category as follows:

Also competing and earning medals were these pre-eligible athletes: Camden Dillenbeck, Gavin Wampole, Zage Westbay, Danika Stenulson, Alison Shaw, Hadley Hare, Natalie Boon, Lexi Bergemann & Kenzie Klimpke.
The event included competition in passing, dribbling and shooting skills. Each first place winner received a plaque, while all other participants received medals. The first place winners in the local contest now have the opportunity to compete in the state Tri-Star competition held in Oshkosh in March.
