Youth Tri-Star Basketball Event This Thursday

The Optimist Club of Neillsville will be sponsoring their annual "Tri-Star" Basketball competition on Thursday afternoon, February 21st beginning at 3:45 in the Middle School Gym.Boys and girls ages 8 through 13 are encouraged to attend. (Younger kids 6-7 years can participate and win ribbons as well) Boys will compete only against boys of their same age and likewise girls will only compete against girls of their same age. There will be passing, dribbling and shooting events with no previous experience necessary.
There is no fee. Each participant will receive a plaque, medal or ribbon. Individual winners of the local contest will have the option to participate in the “State” competition held on March 2nd in Fond du Lac.
The gym will open right after school for practice and to pre-register. If you have any questions, call Judy at the Rec. Dept at 743-2400. See you there!! Parents if you can help out, please call Judy at the Rec Department. The Optimist Club could really use any assistance.
