Neillsville/Granton Falls To Crickets In Season Opener

The Neillsville/Granton football team fell to Fall Creek on Thursday night in their season opener 26-12.Joey Kinderman rushed for for a game high 177 yards on 13 carries and 2 touchdowns for the Crickets. Kinderman had scoring runs of 38 and 56 yards.
Neillsville/Granton was led on the ground by Luke Mayer and Hunter Hand, each with 54 yards rushing. Mayer had a 3 yard scoring run and also an 8 yard TD reception from quarterback Braden Trunkel.
NeillsvilleGranton had two interceptions on defense. Lucas Moseley and Monte Dietsler each with a pick.
The Warriors will host Colby next Friday (8/24) at D.E. Peters Athletic Field at 7 pm.
