Neillsville Dominates Greenwood In ECC Win

The Neillsville Warrior girls basketball team dominated Greenwood on Thursday night in a 70-30 Eastern Cloverbelt Conference win.The Warriors got out to a quick start and never looked back. They took a 34-13 lead into the locker room at the half, led by Lauren Mesar's 14 points.
In the second half Neillsville started to heat up from the outside as they made seven 3-pointers in the half, led by Makayla Knuth who had 3 of them.
Mesar led all scorers with 17 points, Knuth had 11 and Bella Opelt added 10. Brooke Hinker and Abigail Kirchner each had 9 for Greenwood.
The Warriors improve to 3-0 on the season while Greenwood falls to 0-4.
