Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series Opens Season

The Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series presented by OReilleys Auto parts opened their 2021 season last Friday night at Tomah/ Sparta Speedway for Memorial weekend. Eleven drivers made the trip from as far as Rosemount,Minnesota. 

The first heat was won by Justin Jessop of Black River Falls in a 1955 Chevrolet, The second heat was won by Dan Linnehan of Leon,WI.

Feature winner was Jim Kulseth of Rosemount, Minnesota followed by Linnehan, Jessop and Mike Breckinridge of Northfield, Minnesota.

Next stop on the Upper Midwest tour is June 12 at Marshfield Motor Speedway for the Bev Aschenbrenner Memorial race.
