Shilts To Particpate At ESPY's

Neillsville’s own Special Olympic Gold Medalist, Dana Shilts is flying out to Los Angeles to participate in the ESPY Awards on Wednesday!There has already been some filming done in town at her home. She will be on stage with Timothy Shriver, who chairs the Special Olympics. Timothy is the son of Eunice Kennedy Shriver, founder of the Special Olympics. He will be accepting the Arthur Ashe Courage Award on behalf of his mother from former First Lady Michelle Obama.
Dana is also one of 25 athletes receiving an honorary ESPY award.
The ESPY’s, hosted by Peyton Manning, will air Wednesday night on ABC at 7 pm.
