WIAA State Track & Field Championship Wrap

The 2017 State Track & Field Championships concluded in La Crosse Saturday with the crowning of eight team champions and 117 event champions.Kimberly won the Division 1 boys team championship with 41 points, one better than runner-up Oak Creek. Milwaukee King won the Division 1 girls title for the second straight season.
Xavier was the boys team champion in Division 2 with 44 points. Wittenberg-Birnamwood won the girls Division 2 crown .
Coleman was the boys champion in Division 3, Spencer finished 3rd. Algoma was the girls Division 3 team champion with 44 points, two ahead of Edgar’s 42.
