Neillsville Boys Advance To Regional Semi-Final

The Neillsville boys basketball team dominated Coleman in a Division 4 Regional Quarterfinal, 81-63 to advance to the Regional Semi-Final on Friday at Wabeno.The Warriors (15-8) got out to a slow start but pulled away midway through the first half and led 42-28 going into the locker room. They scored 39 second half points to secure the win.
Neillsville had a balanced scoring attack led by Adam Schmidt with 22 points, Issac Bryan with 17, Cody Roman with a career high 16 and Alex King added 15 points.
Coleman was led by Cole Woulf with a game high and season high 33 points. Austin Marquadt added 13 for the Cougars.
Neillsville will now travel to Wabeno-Laona on Friday night for a Regional Semi-Final. Game time is 7 pm and you can hear it live on 92.7 FM WPKG.
