Divisions 2 and 3 qualify the first two wrestlers from each regional to one of four sectionals.
The wrestlers who finish first and second in each weight class at each sectional (in Division 1) qualify for the State Individual Tournament. That means there will be 224 wrestlers in Division 1. The top three finishers in Divisions 2 and 3 advance to State. In Divisions 2 and 3, there will be 168 wrestlers at the State Individual Meet at the Kohl Center in Madison.

Team Tournament
There will be 48 schools that advance to sectionals in the team tournament. These schools will be the team champions of the 16 regionals in each division. The 16 teams in Division 1 are assigned to two-team sectional tournaments. The 16 teams in Divisions 2 and 3 are assigned to four-team sectional tournaments.
Eight teams in Division 1 and four teams in Divisions 2 and 3 advance to the State Team Tournament at the UW-Madison Field House on March 3 & 4. Pairings at the State Team Tournament will be determined by a numerical draw using pre-assigned sectional numbers.
