Schmidt Has Season High 28/Loyal Wins

Despite a season high 28 points from Adam Schmidt, the Neillsville Warriors lost to the Loyal Greyhounds in Eastern Cloverbelt boys basketball 58-51 on Thursday night in Loyal.The Greyhounds got out to a 23-14 halftime lead and never trailed in the second despite being outscored by the Warriors 37-35. Schmidt scored 18 of his 28 points in the second half and finished the game with six 3-pointers.
Loyal was led by Cameron Brussow with 21 points, Luke Bogdonovich had 13 and Riley Geiger added 10.
Loyal improved to 9-2 in the ECC while Neillsville fell to 7-4.
