Shilts Wins Silver Medal At X Games

Dana Shilts won a silver medal at the X Games Aspen Thursday, her third medal in three years at the X Games.For the third straight year, ESPN and Special Olympics Unified Snowboarding invited a cross section of Special Olympics athletes to compete at X Games Aspen.
Special Olympics athletes from around the world are paired with X Games athletes to compete as unified teams in a dual slalom race. The teammate’s scores are combined to determine their final rankings.
Hannah Teter competed with Daina Shilts of Neillsville again this year. Dana has been competing in the race at X Games since 2015. The duo has scored podium spots the past two years.
Congratulations to Daina and Hannah for taking the silver medal in the X Games Special Olympics Unified Snowboarding final on Thursday.
