Lindner Leads UW-Milwaukee Over UIC

Jenny Lindner of Neillsville scored a team high 17 points as UW-Milwaukee downed UIC 83-55 in Horizon League women's basketball on Tuesday night. Jenny also had 8 rebounds.The Panthers quickly built a double-digit lead in the first quarter and never looked back.
The win was the seventh of the season for UWM (13-5, 5-2 Horizon) by 20 points or more, with Tuesday's 28-point Panther win marking the largest margin of victory by either team in the all time series.
A total of 11 different players scored for UWM in this one, with no starter playing more than 26 minutes in the convincing win.
The Panthers start a five-game road swing, starting Saturday with the short trip to No. 25 Green Bay for a 1 pm game.
