Neillsville Uses Late 3's To Beat Auburndale

The Neillsville boys basketball team had three pointers from Issac Bryan and Alex King late in the game to beat Auburndale 51-49 on Tuesday night.Bryan's three-pointer cut the Auburndale lead to one at 49-48 and King's 3 came with 7.7 seconds left and gave the Warriors the lead and eventually the win.
The Warriors trailed by as many at 18 in the second half before getting their outside shots to fall late in the second half to get close.
The Warriors (5-2) had 3 players in double figures led by Bryan with 18 on six three pointers. Adam Schmidt had 16 points and King added 13.
Caleb Weinfurtner led the Apaches (3-3) with 15 points.
Neillsville will host Spencer on Thursday, Jan. 5th.
