Neillsville Stays Unbeaten With Win Over Spencer

The Neillsville girls basketball team improved to 8-0 on the season after a convincing 67-22 win over Spencer on Tuesday night.The Warriors (6-0, 8-0), who are ranked 5th in Divison 4 of the latest WisSports.net/Coaches Poll, used a big first half to take control, leading 46-13, led by Ashlee Dietsler's four 3-pointers.
Neillsville outscored Spencer (3-4, 5-4) in the second half 21-9 to secure the win.
Kayla Lis led the Warriors in scoring with 18 points. Dietsler had 12 and Samatha Cappadora added 10 points.
Spencer was led by Lexi Baehr with 7 points. She came into the game averaging 22.4 points a game.
Neillsville will be at Granton Friday night while Spencer will host Colby.
