Neillsville Girls Improve To 7-0

The Neillsville girls basketball team improved to 7-0 on the season with a 72-37 win over Colby on Thursday night.The Warriors (5-0, 7-0) led 36-20 at the half, converting on 14 of 21 from free throw line.
Neillsville outscored the Hornets 36-17 in the second half to secure the win. The Warriors had three players in double figures led by Morgan Hauge and Kayla Lis, each with 11 points, Michelle Kyle added 10. Neillsville had 12 different players in the scoring column.
Colby(3-3, 3-4) was led by Ashley Streveler who scored 12 points on 4 three pointers.
Neillsville will host Spencer on Tuesday night while Colby will host Medford on Tuesday.
