Lis Leads Neillsville To Win

Kayla Lis scored a game high 25 points in leading the Neillsville Warriors past the Owen-Withee Blackhawks 69-45 in Eastern Cloverbelt Conference girls basketball on Tuesday night.The Warriors (4-0, 6-0) led 30-16 at the half and outscored the Hawks 39-29 in the second half for the win.
Along with Lis' 25 points, Samantha Cappadora had 10 points for the Warriors and Mindy Schoengarth and Michelle Kyle added 8 points each.
Jennifer Wendler led Owen-Withee (3-2, 4-2) with 16 points.
Neillsville will be at Colby on Thursday night, you can hear it live on 92.7 FM WPKG - Game time is 7:15 pm
