Neillsville Boys Improve To 3-0 In ECC

The Neillsville boys basketball team improved to 3-0 in the Eastern Cloverbelt Conference after a 56-34 win over Greenwood on Thursday night at Greenwood.The Warriors (3-1, 3-0) led at the half 36-9 led by Issac Bryan's 13 points.
Greenwood (1-2, 0-2) outscored Neillsville 25-20 in the second half, but the Warriors big first half lead was too much to overcome.
Bryan led all scorers with 20 points, Adam Schmidt added 17 for the Warriors. Walker Wuethrich led Greenwood with 10 points.
Neillsville will host Loyal on Tuesday night while Greenwood travels to Colby.
