Neillsville Girls End Loyal's Win Streak

The Neillsville girls basketball team ended the Loyal Greyhounds 42 game Eastern Cloverbelt Conference win streak with a 68-37 win on Tuesday night at Neillsville.The Warriors (3-0, 5-0) led 34-18 at the half led by Mindy Schoengarth with 13 points. The Warriors outscored the Greyhounds (2-1, 3-2) 34-19 in the second half as Kayla Lis and Morgan Hauge each scored 9 points in the half, with Lis converting on 7 of 9 free throws. Karsyn Rueth scored 11 of her game high 18 points in the second half for Loyal.
Schoengarth led 3 players in double figures for Neillsville with 15 points, Lis had 14 and Hauge added 12 points.
Neillsville will be at Owen-Withee next Tuesday while Loyal will host Colby on Friday.
