Neillsville Boys Defeat Gilman

The Neillsville boys basketball team had 4 players in double figures as they beat Gilman 69-55 in Eastern Cloverbelt Conference basketball on Friday night.The Warriors were led by Adam Schmidt who had 22 points, Logan Matson 16, Issac Bryan 12 and Noah Henchen added 11 points. The Warriors led 41-25 at the half and by as many as 20 points in the second half before Gilman got the lead down to 8 at one point, but the Warriors made free throws at the end to pull away for the win. Gilman actually outscored the Warriors in the second half 30-28.
The Pirates were led by Roman Konsella who had a game high 25 points, including 7 three pointers. Gilman made 11 three pointers as team.
Neillsville (2-0) will be at Black River Falls on Tuesday night.
