Neillsville Girls Top Greenwood

The Neillsville girls basketball team improved to 4-0 after a 65-28 win over Greenwood on Thursday night in Greenwood.Neillsville's defensive pressure forced numerous turnovers as they took a big lead early and never looked back. 10 different players scored in the first half as the Warriors led 36-15 going into the locker room.
In the second half, it was much of the same as Neillsville's defense forced a number of turnovers that led to points and the Warriors outscored Greenwood (0-3) 29-13 in the half to make the final 65-28.
In all, 12 different players scored for Neillsville, led by Kayla Lis with 13 points and Ashlee Diestler added 10. Greenwood's Kassidy Lamovec led all scorers with a game high 15 points.
Neillsville will host Loyal on Tuesday night at the Fieldhouse while Greenwood travels to Colby.
