Neillsville Tops Gilman In ECC Girls Basketball

The Neillsville Warrior girls basketball team improved to 2-0 after a 48-30 win over Gilman on Tuesday night.The Warriors got out to a big lead in the first half led by Samantha Cappadora, Kayla Lis and Ashlee Dietsler who all scored 6 first half points as Neillsville led 29-12 at the break.
In the second half, Mindy Schoengarth scored 8 of her team high 11 points as each team scored 18 points. Cooper Sherfield and Cameron Skabroud each scored 8 second half points for Gilman. Sherfield led all scorers with 12.
Neillsville will host Black River Falls next Tuesday at the Fieldhouse.
