UW-Whitewater Wins WIAC Women’s Volleyball Championship

University of Wisconsin-Whitewater claimed the 2016 WIAC Women’s Volleyball Championship with a 25-21, 17-25, 25-22, 25-23 victory over UW-La Crosse at Kris Russell Volleyball Arena on Saturday.The tournament title is its second straight and the 16th in program history. UW-Whitewater also received the conference’s automatic bid into the NCAA Division III championship. The Warhawks (27-6) will be making their 29th NCAA appearance.
