Neillsville/Granton Volleyball Falls To West Salem

The Neillsville/Granton girls volleyball season came to end on Saturday night in a Regional Final at West Salem.The Warriors lost in 3 games: 22-25, 21-25, 18-25.
Coach Tia Opelt was proud of her team, "West Salem was a good team and we knew it was going to be a tough game. We put up a fight but we weren't able to come out with a win. I'm proud of how we finished the season, and I'm proud of the games we had tonight. We had a good group of seniors who will be missed next year. West Salem had a very good defense and some strong hitters. We had some errors and we got stuck in some spots but we fought to come back each game."
Top stats for the games tonight were Jocelyn Thur with 14 serve attempts, Morgan Hauge with 13 serve attempts, Jocelyn Thur with 8 kills, Malory Zickert with 12 on target serve receives, Sam Cappadora with 5 solo blocks and 3 block assists, Mindy Schoengarth with 14 assists, Allison Erickson with 12 digs, Mindy Schoengarth with 10 digs.
