Neillsville/Granton Advances To Regional Semi-Final

The Neillsville/Granton girls volleyball team advances to the Division 2 Regional Semi-Final after a 3-1 win over Nekoosa on Tuesday night...Game scores: 25-15, 22-25, 25-14, 25-11.
"We should have easily won in three games but we did not play together the second game, said coach Tia Opelt. "I'm proud of the girls for bouncing back after the second game and winning the next two."
Top stats for the night were Allison Erickson with 18 good serve attempts and 2 aces, Jocelyn Thur with 22 kills, Morgan Hauge with 7 on target serve receives, Ashlee Diestler with 6 on target serve receives, Jocelyn Thur with 3 solo blocks and 2 block assists, Lexi Opelt with 29 assists, and Ashlee Diestler with 21 digs.
The Warriors advance to the Regional Semi-Final on Thursday at 7:00 in Black River Falls.
