Neillsville/Granton Volleyball Wins Tournamnet

The Neillsville/Granton girls volleyball team continued their winning ways on Saturday by winning their own Tournament at The Fieldhouse..Gilmanton, Alma Pepin, and Greenwood were the other teams participating. Neillsville/Granton went 2-0 against Gilmanton (25-13, 25-19), 2-0 against Alma/Pepin (25-16, 25-19), and 2-1 against Greenwood (25-16, 22-25, 15-6).
Head coach Tia Opelt said after that tournament that her girls "played well." " I was able to try a few different line ups. We didn't have a very good serving day, but we were able to come out on top."
Top players of the day were Jocelyn Thur with 29 total kills, Morgan Hauge with 26 total kills, Malory Zickert with 28 total digs, and Mindy Schoengarth and Lexi Opelt with 29 and 39 assists respectively.
Neillsville/Granton's next game is a triangular at Neillsville on Thursday.
