The 40th annual Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Star Games were held this past Saturday at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh.In the Small Schools game, the North team jumped out to a 28-6 lead before holding off a late South rally in a 28-24 victory. The North quarterback duo of Amherst's Garret Groshek and Cody Folkers of Fall Creek was outstanding, combining to go 22 of 31 for 256 yards and 3 touchdowns.
In the Large Schools game, a dominating defensive performance led the way for the South Large All-Star team, who won a sixth straight game in the yearly gathering of the state's best players, defeating the North 17-7. The defenses dominated in this one, as the South compiled just 219 yards of offense, while the North was held to 142. The North team managed just 4 rushing yards on 21 carries.
