Loyal Takes Over First Place In ECC

The Loyal Greyhound baseball team is now in first place all alone after a 9-2 victory over Spencer on Saturday in Spencer.Riley Geiger picked up the win for the Hounds going the distance, striking out 2, walking 2 and allowing just 2 hits. Colton Roehl and Jake Waldhart each had 3 hits to lead the offense.
Calvin Lenz took the loss for Spencer, striking out 3 and walking 4 in his 5 1/3 innings of work.
Loyal is now 7-0 in the ECC while Spencer falls to 6-1.
Spencer will be at Loyal on May 10th.
