Loyal, Thorp and Marshfield Girls Win Regional Titles

The Loyal, Thorp and Marshfield girls basketball teams move on to the Sectional Semi-Finals after Regional Title game wins on Saturday night.Loyal (21-4) beat Marshfield Columbus 63-41 to move on the play Assumption in a Division 5 Sectional Semi-Final at Waupaca on Thursday night. Loyal's Karsyn Rueth reached the 1,000 point in her career on Saturday night.
Thorp (15-9) beat Owen-Withee for the Regional Title 49-47 to advance on in Division 5 to play Clayton at Chetek-Weyerhauser on Thursday night.
Marshfield (22-2) edged Eau Claire North 45-41 to win their Regional and advance to play in a Division 1 Sectional Semi-Final against Neenah on Thursday night.
