Neillsville Boys Finish ECC Season 11-5

The Neillsville boys basketball team finished the Eastern Cloverbelt Conference season 11-5 after a 67-59 win over Owen-Withee on Monday night.The Warriors trailed by two, 26-24 at the end of the first half. In the second half, Owen-Withee went up by 10 at one point, but then three 3-pointers by Adam Schmidt put the Warriors up by 1 and then they pulled away in the last few minutes to get the win.
Owen-Withee's Josiah Goerlitz led all scorers with 24 points, Michael Dux led Neillsville with 20 points. Schmidt and Jake Kunze added 15 points a piece for the Warriors.
Neillsville finished the ECC season 11-5 and overall they improved to 12-9. Owen-Withee finishes the ECC season 10-6 and they are now 12-9 overall.
