Wrestlers Get Ready For Individual Sectionals This Saturday

Area wrestlers are getting ready for Individual Sectionals coming up this Saturday for a chance to wrestle at State next weekend.In Division 1, Stevens Point will be sending 9 wrestlers to Sectionals on Saturday at D.C. Everest. Marshfield will be sending 8 wrestlers to that Sectional. Wisconsin Rapids will be sending 11 wrestlers to the Ashwaubenon Sectional on Saturday.
In Division 2, Neillsville/Greenwood/Loyal will have 12 individuals at the Osceola Sectional on Saturday, Spencer/Columbus has 7, Stanley-Boyd/Owen-Withee 4, Abbotsford/Colby and Osseo-Fairchild/Augusta/Fall Creek each have 1 individual particpating.
In Division 3, Stratford will have 12 individuals participating in the Bonduel Sectional on Saturday, Pittsville has 3 wrestlers participating and Thorp will have 1 wrestler. Cadott has 3 wrestlers participating in the Independence Sectional at Osseo-Fairchild on Saturday.
Wrestlers who finish first and second in each weight class in Division 1 advance to State while the top 3 in each weight class in Divisions 2 and 3 advance to State.

The 73rd Annual WIAA Individual Wrestling Championship Tournament will be held Thursday, Feb. 25 - Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Kohl Center in Madison.
